ACCESSORIES for Vacuum Priming Systems
PRIMING VALVES
Our
standard float operated air release valves have been specifically designed for
priming applications.
They include a durable fusion bonded epoxy coating on the
inside and outside of the valve body to provide exceptional abrasion and
chemical resistance.
The internal trim is 316 Stainless Steel to provide
long life, even in aggressive water.
The long body design and skirted
float eliminate leakage caused by high vacuum levels.
A weatherproof SPDT water level
control switch is normally used to signal when a pump is primed, or to provide a
warning if the prime has been lost. An optional DPDT water level control
switch is available upon request.

WATER TRAPS
As an optional accessory, an inline water trap can be installed
in the main vacuum line to provide additional protection against flooding the
priming system. The water trap includes a washable stainless steel filtration
screen to protect against large particulates, a float-type check valve for
emergency shut off, and a manual drain valve. A liquid filled vacuum gauge
is an available option.
The clear housing ensures that accumulated water is easily visible. Standard
connection sizes are 1/2” NPT to 6” NPT.
